Academy - this is a year around
program with academics included for the real serious
tennis player who is thinking about making tennis his
career through the course of the day the the children
spend a minimum of 5 hours on the tennis court
followed by two sessions of fitness in the morning and
the evening a lot of emphasis is placed on technique
in the morning sessions through individual lessons and
group sessions video analysis is used by the coaches
to better explain to the children the flaws in their
strokes and the needful is done the evening session is
geared towards match play where the children are
observed and their strategies are worked on each child
is an individual and their own strengths and
weaknesses are considered before a strategy is
suggested but not insisted upon the final decision is
the child’s and we are there to help them make the
best of what they have… there are several ways a
tennis match can be won the fitness programs are
structured to meet the overall needs of the child as
well as individual programs are designed to help the
children with their problem areas. Our program is tied
up with three schools – APL (Cambridge Syllabus),
Gateway International (IGCSE syllabus) and Sacred
Heart Matriculation School (State Syllabus) though
tennis is our primary concern we do not COMPROMISE on
education.

Summer camps and holiday camps – these camps are
for children who would like to experience our camp
lifestyle and go through the grind that our year around
campers experience this will give them an idea of what is
required of them to take their game the next level their
days are filled with a lot of basics instruction in the
morning and extended time spent on their technique
evenings are assigned to match play where the emphasis is
on making sure they use what is taught to them in the
morning they are exposed to some of our fitness regimes
but not to a great extent as some of the children that
come to us for summer or holiday camps are not used to
playing for more than an hour or two of tennis on a daily
basis due to the short time these children spend with us
we try to get as much done in their game in a short time
and they have enough information to work on until their
return to camp the next time.
Tournament preparation camps
- these camps are specifically for children who would
like to spend a short time with us before a stretch of
important tournaments a lot of emphasis is placed on match
play and helping them clearly understand their strengths
and weaknesses depending on the duration between their
time at camp and their next tournament their fitness is
designed accordingly if the child needs any minor
adjustments in their technique they are helped with but
any major changes are saved for when they have more time
to spend at camp and a longer duration before their next
tournament.
Weekend camps – these by far
are our most popular camps especially for children from
the city as it gives them a chance to be a part of our
tennis family and learn the latest techniques which may
not be taught to them due to the sheer number of trainees
at the commercially run tennis centres in town… a lot of
these children eventually graduate to being our full time
residential trainees as time goes on… the camps start on
Saturday morning and ends on Sunday evening with four
sessions…
Non residential evening tennis
sessions
– children from the neighboring communities are
bused to our venue for an hour of tennis and fun either
for three days in a week or six days in a week these
classes are a great way to start the game in a fun filled
atmosphere and a fantastic way of getting some exercise
which our children so desperately need these days.
Private/ group– lessons with
our director Mr Meenakshi Sundaram can be a real
experience!!!! With over twenty years of experience
working with children of all ages and standards of play
and adults as well, his lessons are nothing short of fun,
motivational, intense and he guarantees to fix anything in
your game.
Adult group lessons - lets
not forget mom and dad we offer group lessons for those
parents who need to learn this awesome game or would like
to show a thing or two about tennis to their children who
come home and tell them Oh mom and dad you know nothing
about this sport these lessons are usually on the weekends
and last about two hours either in the mornings after 9 am
or in the evening after 4 pm.
Motor skills development classes offered to tee
tollers
– offered only three days a week these classes are a
great way to get those two year olds started on the right
path to becoming an athlete someday it is so important to
get these children out there as soon as possible and teach
them basic motor skills which will help them tremendously
in whatever sport they may choose to take up later on in
life Leander Paes’s father had him doing hand eye co
ordination exercises when he was still in the cradle
wonder why he is the fastest guy in the world on the mens
circuit.
